The Dominican Republic continues preparing to host, for the second consecutive year, some of the best clubs in the world in a tournament that will take place from June 24 to 29 at The Fields Cap Cana Sports City.
With just over a month to go before the competition kicks off, the organization keeps confirming the participation of top-level clubs for this second edition. The latest addition is the historic Mexican club Cruz Azul, which will once again take part in the MICFootball Punta Cana.
In 2025, Los Azules competed in the U16 category and reached the quarterfinals of the tournament, where they were eliminated on penalties by Ecuadorian side Guayas FC.
This coming June, however, it will be Las Azules who defend the Cruz Azul badge in the women’s category of the tournament. The F16 category will become a reality for the first time in the history of the event and promises to deliver unforgettable moments between teams from different countries.
