MICFootball Punta Cana and BanReservas sign agreement for youth football in DR

MICFootball Punta Cana and BanReservas have reached an agreement to promote youth football in the Dominican Republic. The Dominican bank becomes a strategic partner of the tournament.

MICFootball is coming to America and Banco de Reservas will be one of its strategic partners. The 2025 edition of this prestigious international grassroots football tournament will be held in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, from June 24 to 29, marking a milestone in the history of the event.

In a formal ceremony, the senior administrative executive vice president of Banreservas, José Manuel Almonte, and the president of MIC, David Bellver, signed the sponsorship agreement last week at the bank’s main headquarters. This agreement aims to bring this great event closer to the youth teams of the American continent and promote sports tourism in the region.

During the signing, José Manuel Almonte highlighted Banreservas’ commitment to sport, stressing that support for grassroots football is one of the entity’s priorities. “The Dominican people are more than proud to host this discipline. Thank you for the trust in us to carry out this event,” said Almonte, who also extended his best wishes for the success of the competition.

For his part, David Bellver thanked Banreservas for their support and explained that after an exhaustive study of the best places to hold the tournament, it was determined that the Dominican Republic was the ideal destination. “The hotel infrastructure, the facilities and the support of the partner make us confident that this event will be a resounding success in Punta Cana. We are here to stay,” said Bellver.

The MICFootball Punta Cana 2025 is presented as an expansion of the traditional competition that, for 25 years, has been held on the Costa Brava, Spain. This international tournament will bring together high-level teams from various parts of the world and will offer participants not only a platform for sports development, but also a tourist experience in one of the most attractive destinations in the Caribbean.

With the support of Banreservas, the event will have the necessary organization to guarantee its success, while promoting tourism and sports in the country. The arrival of MICFootball to Punta Cana is a reflection of the continued growth of the Dominican Republic as a destination for international events.

Key figures were present at the ceremony, such as Nelly Carías, member of the Board of Directors of Banreservas; Yubelkis Ramírez, Vice President of Marketing at Banreservas; Fabeka Lebrón, founding partner of MICFootball Punta Cana; and Kayla Sikaffy, director of MIC. At the end of the event, David Bellver presented Banreservas with the official MICFootball Punta Cana 2025 jersey, symbolizing the mutual commitment to the success of this edition.

MICFootball Punta Cana 2025 promises to be a highly impactful event for sports and tourism, and with the support of Banreservas, it is expected to become an annual event of international relevance.
