The big day arrived. The long-awaited moment. What the teams had been longing for. To set foot on Dominican soil and settle into the tournament hotels. The Occidental Punta Cana, the Occidental Caribe, and the Ocean el Faro welcomed the teams participating in MICFootball Punta Cana 2026 between Tuesday and Wednesday.
Welcomed by the organization’s staff, the teams disembarked from the bus, checked in, received their official tournament gym bags, and wristbands granting them daily access to The Fields, Cap Cana Sports City. Overflowing with excitement and a feeling of beginning the professional experience they had dreamed of.
Proyecto JDB and Guayama FC arrived from Puerto Rico. LA Galaxy and Inter Miami landed eager to defend their titles. On Tuesday, the four Spanish teams (Atlético Madrid, Real Madrid, FC Barcelona, and Sevilla) crossed the Atlantic. And some teams were making their debut, such as Brazil’s Corinthians or Villarreal CDMX from Mexico.
Tonight they’ll need to rest well and recharge their batteries because starting this Thursday, June 25th, the second edition of MICFootball Punta Cana will kick off, with more than 300 matches, all with television coverage through MICFootball TV.
