The top-tier teams left their print on first day

MICFootball Punta Cana kicked off this Thursday with a series of matches in which the pre-tournament favorites made their mark with resounding victories.

Real Madrid gave their rivals no chance in the U12 category (7-a-side football). The Whites, who are looking to defend their 2025 title, started by defeating Fletcha Soccer Champs 10-0 and then followed that up with a 9-0 victory over Garrincha FC. Javier Martínez Mendoza stood out with 6 goals. In the same category, FC Barcelona made their debut in the afternoon with a dominant 17-0 win against Villarreal CDMX.

In the U13 category, Corinthians and LA Galaxy both made impressive debuts with resounding victories. The Brazilian team eliminated Barça Academy (11-0), and the Californian side showcased its offensive prowess with an 8-0 victory over Califa CF.

Sevilla FC was the star of the U14 category, debuting with two impressive wins. In their first match, they defeated One FC Miami 3-0 and then cruised past Santa Fe FC (10-0).

The U15 category was led by Club América, who came to the tournament eager to lift the trophy. In their first match, the Mexican side defeated Tre Valli 8-0 with a hat-trick from Zahir Lozada.

Finally, in the oldest age category (U16), Inter Miami and Gremio have not faltered in their first matches. The Brazilian team has accumulated 6 points after defeating Venados FC Yucatán (2-0) and Continental FC (1-6), while the Florida side  struggled against Santa Fe (1-2) before handing Villarreal CDMX an 8-0 defeat.
